Anyone have info on when it is a good idea to build Biosphere Modification? I would consider BioMod when it is cheaper than, or comparative to, Orbital Base / Urban Structures... similar in process to deciding between refineries vs factories. However, with their high energy requirement, I am hesitant to build BioMod.

usually not needed until the cost of urban structures and orbitals starts to become unruly. i'm talking 20k+ a pop to slot in an urban/orbital structure.

the only time i'd consider a biosphere sooner is if i have an astro with only 4 fert.
