Feedback : sidebars

Yesterday i visited the forum
on my notebook. It has a
"normal" screenresolution
with 1024 by 768, but
because of the right sidebar
the main content wan pinched
in the middle. So all text
showed like this with huge
avatars next to them. (even
narrower than the topics in the
left sidebar)

Is it possible to make the right
sidebar appear only on the
main page or at least not in
single threats?

I'll make some changes, see if I can make things a bit easier on smaller resolutions.
