It was dumb, really. My character got bitched out publicly for "threatening" an ally of an ally. It didn't make sense. Still doesn't. Kind of a long story, but suffice to say we felt unsafe afterward.

Heh, I'm not one for pity parties, but since you wanted to compare...let's see, bitch of a fiance got me to cancel my semester abroad in Scotland, milked me for loads of money to help her get a start in culinary school and get her own place, caused all sorts of drama with my family because she wanted to get married before I finished grad school, then within a year of the date she picked, dumped me on my birthday for a short-order cook from McAllister's and moved in with him a week later.

So, yeah, it was. At least getting your balls chopped off and having your face murdered is over with quickly!

EDIT: AND turn down a PhD program to get an MBA instead because it's quicker. I swear, I was an idiot for this girl. Ah well, live and learn.

She joined only insofar as I dragged her. Always got guilt trips about going to game, though. She quit when we broke up. I have decided, going forward, that I am going to look more closely at trying to date gamer girls. At least then I can enjoy myself and my hobby.

My wife wasn't a gamer girl, but she really started enjoying the Cam after she went to a few games. Even though I've quit, she still plays. So it's not all about girls who are into games, just gotta find one who might enjoy it or at least put up with it. lol

If I get a gal who's involved from the start (not necessarily with the Cam, but with some form of my myriad gaming interests) I know that won't be the case, heh.
